The challenge
Vantix Labs’ keyword search frustrated users on a knowledge base of over 200,000 documents. A full platform rebuild to support semantic search was estimated at six months — too slow for a competitive market window.
Our approach
We built a retrieval-augmented generation layer that sat alongside the existing platform rather than replacing it, indexing documents into a vector database and routing queries through an LLM-backed retrieval pipeline. The integration shipped as an additive service with no changes to the core platform.
The result
Search relevance scores nearly doubled in user testing, and engagement with search results rose 2× within the first month of rollout — delivered in nine weeks instead of a six-month rebuild.
