QA Automation Engineer

Build the testing infrastructure that catches problems before clients do — automated test suites across web and API layers.
What you'll do
Design and build automated test suites across UI, API, and integration layers
Set up and maintain CI pipelines that run tests reliably, not flakily
Work with engineers to identify what needs test coverage before a feature ships, not after a bug report
Investigate and document production bugs with enough detail that engineers can reproduce them quickly
Advocate for testability in system design during planning, not just after the fact
What we're looking for
3+ years building automated test suites, not just manual QA
Experience with at least one major test automation framework (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar)
Comfortable writing API-level tests, not just UI automation
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how tests fit into them
Can explain a bug you caught through automation that would have been expensive in production
Nice to have
Experience with performance or load testing tools
Basic scripting ability in Python or JavaScript beyond test frameworks
Exposure to accessibility testing tools
